SlimBrowser includes weather forecasts, rapid integration with Facebook and the photo upload tool which has some editing capabilities like shrinking photos for upload, web optimization for images and a web site screenshot tool. With that said, it does pack in a bunch useful features like an ad-blocker by default, conversion of media found on popular video sharing web sites, a multi-threaded download manager and some translation tools making it easier to read foreign web pages. The basic look of this web browser is quite different from the flat design that most others have moved to. Worth noting here is the anti-phishing and anti-malware features that have been built-in.
Though many features and plug-ins are available on places like the Chrome Store, SlimBrowser includes many of the best and most tested ones. The browser currently uses the Blink engine and has some tweaks applied to it in order to optimize the application for speed. SlimBrowser is a neat web browser that works well for both newbies and more seasoned web users with many of the common features included in many of the top extensions and addons of bigger players like Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
